Hello and welcome,  I am Sherrie Gurel. 

I view my role as a guide, support system, and facilitator as you journey on your healing path.

I believe each of us is the expert of our own life. Connection is an important part of healing because we are social beings.

  • Canadian Certified Counsellor #12253 with (Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association)

  • EMDR Certified Therapist with (EMDR International Association) 

EXPERIENCE

I have been working in the area of trauma for the past 11 years. My interest is in somatic counselling. I believe there is a strong connection between our mind and body. Learning to trust yourself and utilize your own innate wisdom is the key to a mind-body-spirit connection.

I am an EMDR Certified Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Advanced Flash Technique Certificate,

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Natural Processing, Compassionate Inquiry,  and training in Cybercounselling.
